Welcome back to the past! Five Lake Minnetonka historical museums are reopening to the public in July. All have knowledgeable volunteers ready to welcome you back and talk local history! The Wayzata Depot Museum will be reopening on Saturday, July 3, followed by a special Flying Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, July 4. All are welcome to attend the Depot reopening and Flying Pancake Breakfast!
Visit all five Lake Minnetonka history museums and earn a chance to win a prize! As a special welcome back incentive, you can pick up a history “pastport” at any of the museums below. Have your pastport stamped at each museum during the month of July and earn a chance to win a special “Basket of History!”

- Minnesota Streetcar Museum (Excelsior)
- Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Historical Society Museum (Excelsior)
- Westonka Historical Society Museum (Mound)
Check lkmtkahist.weebly.com for street addresses and hours of operation for each location. To be entered in the drawing for a “Basket of History,” please leave your fully stamped pastport with your contact information at the fifth museum you visit by Saturday, July 31, 2021. Winners will be notified by Saturday, August 7.
