We will explore the early history of Lookout Point, a peninsula on Lake Minnetonka often associated with the Ferndale neighborhood. The program will highlight some of the area’s early settlers and later residents from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The program will also include the history of Frank Peavey’s Highcroft Estate (1895-1953) and the Highcroft Country Day School, which is currently part of the Blake School. Many rare photos will be shown.

The program will be presented by WHS board member Joanie Holst and volunteer James Prince. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Wayzata Community Room, located within Wayzata City Hall (600 Rice Street East). This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
