Some people think cemeteries are spooky, but we think they’re fun! Certainly they can yield much information about a community’s history, which is why we invite you to join us this Saturday, October 22 for our annual cemetery stroll.
We’ll meet at Greenlawn Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. and make our way through the grounds as prominent figures from Wayzata’s past tell us their stories. Will Royal Moore be back? What about Edwin Braden? You’ll have to come to find out!
The ground is flat, but good walking shoes are encouraged. Light refreshments will also be served.
A fun way to learn about our history as you stroll through the cemetery hearing stories about our early Wayzata settlers!
